Dyed leather wallets look great at first, but their colors wear with regular use.
Wanting to fix this, I designed a wallet made from flexible filament. TPU objects can be thin and yet extremely resistant with stable colors over time. It is also waterproof, so it can be simply cleaned with water and soap.
Like origami, is starts as a flat print and is then folded into shape.
5 years later, I still use it every day and it hasn't aged a bit.
First created for an 8-day trek in Nepal, it is a line of 3D-printed travel accessories designed to solve real packing challenges—organization, weight (less than 100g total!), space, and hygiene. I use it now both at home and on the road.
Following my inspiration over the years, I created multiple series of bookmarks.
Although they are extremely thin (<1mm), they are extremely resistant because they are printed out of TPU.
